OUR CHARITYBUY EYEWEAR, GIVE EYECARE Second Specs is a proud supporter of Canadian Vision Care. For every pair of glasses purchased, Second Specs will donate to provide eyecare and eyewear to someone in need. These donations reduce the charity's glasses expenses, allowing more funding for equipment, drops and surgical supplies. All of the travel and services are 100% donated by the eye care providers that participate in the humanitarian missions. In addition to donating, we regularly help organize and attend eye care trips around the world! |

There are over a billion people in the world in need of glasses. Canadian Vision Care was founded over thirty years ago and has donated millions of dollars in glasses, eye care and surgical services to underserved communities around the world.
In North America, we often take eye care or access to reading glasses for granted. For many people, the loss of near vision after the age of forty can make it impossible to have a livelihood.
A priority of Canadian Vision Care is children's vision. 80% of learning is visual. Unfortunately, for children that have vision issues often struggle throughout school and can incorrectly be seen as lazy or difficult. Watching a child get their first pair of glasses and finally see is awesome, it is a gift that truly changes lives.
DONATE YOUR OLD GLASSES AT ANY LOCATION!
Have some old glasses you want to donate to someone in need? Bring your old glasses into any of our location and drop them in the donation box. The local area Lion Club collects them, cleans them, fixes them and catalogs them so they can be given to someone in need.
